Love can sometimes feel overwhelming in its intensity, making it difficult to express or receive fully. Some people fear that feeling love makes them vulnerable. Learning to be present with love, however, opens your capacity for fuller experience.
Love can feel different from moment to moment – intense one day and gentle the next, yet still be the same love. It can hold many emotions at once – joy, worry, tenderness, fear, caring, frustration. It is not always simple or pure.
Allow love to flow freely without trying to control or contain it. Let it be exactly what it is in this moment. It does not ask for analysis, or protection, just willingness to be present and open.
When love arises, welcome it without reservation. This vulnerability is part of being human. If you notice yourself holding back, gently return to openness.
